With a frontispiece, retaining the original tissue guard, to each volume.

Condition
In the publisher's original cloth bindings. Bumping to spine heads and tails, otherwise externally exceptionally bright. Light spotting to fore edges of text blocks, most concentrated to 'Rue Morgue' and 'Gold-Bug'. Internally, firmly bound. Pages generally clean and bright, with only the odd spot.
