Present here are 'The Murders in the Rue Morgue and Other Tales'; A Narrative of Arthur Gordon Pym and Other Tales'; 'The Gold-Bug and Other Tales', and 'The Complete Poetical Works, Including an Essay on Poetry', edited and with a memoir from John H. Ingram.

With a frontispiece, retaining the original tissue guard, to each volume.

A central figure of Romanticism in the United States, Poe is now best known for his poetry and short stories, particularly his tales of mystery and the macabre.

Condition

In the publisher's original cloth bindings. Bumping to spine heads and tails, otherwise externally exceptionally bright. Light spotting to fore edges of text blocks, most concentrated to 'Rue Morgue' and 'Gold-Bug'. Internally, firmly bound. Pages generally clean and bright, with only the odd spot.
