A very scarce authorised biography of British theatre actor Michael Martin Harvey. Illustrated with a photogravure complete with facsimile autograph, and numerous further photographic plates of Mr. Martin Harvey in costume.

To the rear flyleaf is a fascinating advertisement for 'Private and Luxurious Electric Carriages', or, the 'Electromobile', which could be hired for an evening for fifteen shillings and transport its passengers throughout the course of a night. It could also be hired for six shillings an hour during the day.

With numerous further contemporary advertisements throughout.

This is volume three of a series that would eventually run to six volumes, each dedicated to a theatre actor prominent in London's West End in the early twentieth century.
