First edition. From the "Little Folks" panel books series. Very scarce. Illustrated throughout with colour images. A charming collection of stories detailing the adventures of a young girl named Nancy, from the kitchen items coming to life, and playing with bubbles, to meeting her new Dutch doll, and riding a tiger. Written by Charles S. Bayne, a British writer of children's fiction.
Condition
In the original pictorial paper covered boards. Externally, sound with rubbing and minor bumping to the extremities. Light sunning to the spine and board edges. Front hinge tender. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright with the odd small spot or handling mark. Light age toning to the first and last few pages with a contemporary ink inscription to the front pastedown.
