Very scarce work. From the Half-Inch Series. Pocket-sized folding map. A large folding map of the Bristol district, to aid with planning cycling and motoring routes. With all main roads specifically coloured and an index of place names. Produced by Bacon's Maps, founded by George Washington Bacon, an American mapmaker and publisher who developed a successful business producing maps of London.
Condition
In the original full cloth binding. Externally, smart with light rubbing and minor bumping to the extremities. Internally, firmly bound. The map is very bright with minor age toning to the extremities and the odd small mark.
