Founded in 1903 as an offshoot of Dean & Son, Dean's Rag Book Company produced durable cloth books for children, featuring zig-zag cut edges and washable materials, making them ideal for young readers.
This work is a picture dictionary for children, containing a visual assortment of everyday objects, including utensils, flowers, fruit, tools, toys, household goods, and furniture.
The book is illustrated by Vernon Barrett.

A delightfully vibrantly illustrated work.
Condition
In the publisher's original sewn cloth wrappers. Wraps significantly age toned, with mark to tail of rear wrap. Amateur stitches to centre of wraps. Internally, firmly bound. Illustrations vibrant, but with major handling marks to cloth throughout. Three or four amateur hand sewn stitches to each leaf.
