A very scarce collection of eight colour postcards, housed in the publisher's original envelope.
These eight postcards - all unsent - depict uniforms, flags, military insignias, and notable scenes in the history of the regiment, from their origins in the sixteenth century onwards.
The Buffs (Royal East Kent Regiment), formerly the 3rd Regiment of Foot, was a line infantry regiment of the British Army traditionally raised in the English county of Kent and garrisoned at Canterbury.
Undated; dated circa 1905 via dates to illustrations.
A charming celebration of a military regiment, produced prior to the First World War.
Condition
In the publisher's original paper envelope. Significant handling marks to envelope, which is lightly age toned. Postcards clean and bright.
