    In the publisher's original pale cloth binding with gilt. 

    This copy is undated. Dated here using Jisc, from copies held at various institutions including the University of Glasgow Library, University of Leeds Library and University of Strathclyde Library.

    This is a charming vintage cookbook, published by Lemco, Liebig's Extract of Meat Company, best known for its Oxo brand stock cubes. This copy contains a 208 recipes, organized seasonally with, alongside breakfast dishes, sweets, and 75 complete menus for various meals, with numerous illustrations throughout.

    Publisher's advertisements to rear and front.

    Condition

    In the publisher's original cloth binding. Externally, smart. Pale cloth slightly soiled, with one or two handling marks. Spine slightly discoloured. Front hinge cracked, with binding material exposed, slightly loose but holding. Endpapers slightly age toned with one or two spots and slight offsetting. Bookplate from "Martin & Pamela Finch: Exlibris Gastronomique" to front free endpaper. internally, generally firmly bound. Pages bright and clean if slightly age toned with one or two spots to fore edge.
