    The author, W. Percival Westell was a self-educated naturalist and strove towards making publications accessible to all by removing the more technical language in his works.

    Condition

    In the original cloth binding. Externally, smart with rubbing and bumping to the extremities. Fading to the spine and handling marks to the boards. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are generally bright and clean. Offsetting to the endpapers and the odd spot throughout.
