    Description

    Colour Plates, Illustrated, Publishers' Original Binding, Very Scarce

    A very scarce work.

    No. 186 in Tuck's 'Royal Art Relief Novelty Series'.

    A charming colour illustrations of a donkey and foal, with a stan, to present a novelty piece of Edwardian ephemera. 

    Illustrated by Helena Maguire.

    Undated, this series was advertised in Tuck's Christmas ads for Winters 1904-05.

    Condition

    In the original paper covered boards, with a new and repaired stand to the rear. Light edge wear, and a small amount of surface loss to the extremities. Donkey is lacking one ear. Light marks. Rear board is age-toned.
