Bound in the publisher's boards with a string tie. 

This scarce work is provides an interesting view as to what Gibraltar was like in the late nineteenth and early twentieth century. Comprised of twenty photographs, including a view of the town, the rock of Gibraltar, Catalan Bay, Europa Point, the military hospital and many more.

The photographs were captured by Abraham Beanland, a keen photographer known for his images of old Gibraltar. Beanland is now viewed a key figure in documenting Gibraltar's history for future generations.

Condition

Bound in the publisher's boards. Externally, very good, with slight rubbing to the extremities and the odd mark. Rubbing to the head and tail of the spine. Internally, firmly bound. Pages bright and clean with the occasional handling mark.
