Colour Plates, Illustrated

A Victorian era souvenir book in the publisher's original cloth binding, with pictorial gilt to the front board.

A souvenir book of seventeen photographs of the famous monuments of Paris, reproduced in chromolithographic prints.

Included are views of the Eiffel Tower, L'Arc de Triomphe, Champs-Elysees, Le Grand Palais, Notre-Dame, La Colonne de la Bastille, and many more.

Undated, dated from the inclusion of the print of Le Petit Palais, which was opened in 1900.

Condition

In the publisher's original cloth binding. Externally, smart, with light shelf wear to the extremities. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean. A little wear to the rear paste down.
