A vanishingly scarce medical pamphlet.
Theophilus Noel was a 'Geologist' who pushed a cure-all medicine called Vitae-Ore in the late 1800s-early 1900s, selling it to families as a money-saving alternative to doctor's bills as a 'blood purifier', curing anaemia and providing other additional health benefits.
This pamphlet promotes its natural remedies and the various illnesses and symptoms that can be alleviated from its use.
Fascinating testimonials are given here, including one husband who claims it helped his wife "bordering upon a complete Nervous Breakdown", and others stating how it relieved their anaemia.
Condition
In the original illustrated wraps. Externally, with handling marks, scattered spots and edge wear. Internally, binding is tender. Pages are generally bright and clean, with scattered spots to the first and last pages.
