Dillmont owned various shops in European capitals and was one of the most relevant pioneer in the international and multicultural enterprise of hobby needlework in the late nineteenth century. Condition
In the original full cloth binding. Externally, smart with light rubbing to the extremities and the odd small mark to the cloth. Hinges starting but firm. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean with light age toning to the extremities and endpapers. A contemporary ink inscription to the front endpaper, with two small closed tears to the front endpaper.
