    Description

    Colour Plates, Illustrated, Original Binding, Publishers' Original Binding, Very Scarce

    German. Very scarce work. Illustrated with ten colour plates and numerous in-text images. A collection of songs and verses for children, with titles such as: Der Kleine Reiter, Morgenlied, Das Schaschen, Der Kleine Soldat, and Abendgebet, amongst others. Illustrated by E. Voigt, a German illustrated known for his work on children's books.

    Condition

    In the original quarter cloth binding with pictorial paper boards. Externally, sound with light rubbing and bumping to the extremities resulting in minor loss to the board edges. Minor fading to the spine with the odd small mark to the boards. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright with light age toning to the extremities.
