A vanishingly scarce pocket book.

Handsomely in full brown suede, with gilt text to the front. 

This collection encapsulates peace, as depicted in poems or extracted verses from writers such as Shelley, Longfellow, Browning, Moore and Blake, among many others. 

Verses are organised into headings such as 'The Gift of Peace', 'The Way of Peace' and 'The Quiet Haven'.

Condition

Bound in full brown suede, with gilt text to the front. Externally, very smart, with minimal shelf wear and a minor line mark across the front board. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and generally clean, with the very odd spot.
