This is a collection of sixteen issues of Pictorial Comedy A magazine which specialised in the depiction of Humorous Phases of Life by Eminent Artists. The drawings within the volume are charming and satirical.
Issue two is missing pages 1-8. Issue eight is missing pages 24-32 and issue eleven is missing pages 9-32.
Condition
In half morocco binding. Externally, worn. There is some fading to the spine, joints and extremities and marks to the boards. There is an inscription to the first page. Internally, generally firmly bound with some pages missing, Issue two is missing pages 1-8, issue eight is missing pages 24-32 and issue eleven is missing pages 9-32. But pages remain bright and clean.
