Folding Maps, Illustrated, Publishers' Original Binding
An unstated c1898 facsimile, dated from Jisc from a copy held at the British Library.
Illustrated with a frontispiece, and one folding map. Collated, front endpaper has been removed, otherwise complete.
A survey and description of the city of Bristol and its suburbs with a guide of the city and the Bristol Directory for the year 1793-1794.
Produced by William Matthews, an English writer who produced an annual directory for Bristol from 1973, listing all the inhabitants in the better areas, and providing an index of shops and businesses.
Condition
In the original publisher's quarter cloth binding with paper to the boards. Externally, generally smart, with light marks to the boards and spine. Minor bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. Light rubbing to the joints. Small tear to the rear joint. Front endpaper has been removed. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are generally bright with scattered spots.
