Written by William Gordon Stables, whose bulk of work comprises primarily adventure fiction for boys as well as books on health, fitness, medical subjects and the keeping of cats and dogs. 

With seventeen pages of publisher's advertisements to the rear.

Condition

In the original red cloth binding. Externally, smart, with slight fading to the spine and rubbing to the extremities. Marks to the boards. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are marginally age toned, but generally clean, with occasional scattered spots.
