Illustrated, Original Binding, Publishers' Original Binding, Scarce

Scarce work. A folding map of the county of Middlesex, an area of South East England now mainly within the ceremonial county of Greater London. Intended for the use of cyclists and tourists, with a scale of half an inch to a mile, measuring approximately 22" x 27". Produced by George Frederick Cruchley, an English map-maker, engraver and publisher based in London.

Condition

In the original cloth binding. Externally, smart with light rubbing and bumping to the extremities. The odd small mark to the boards. Internally, firmly bound. Map is very neat with the odd small crease to the extremities. A contemporary ink inscription and bookseller's label to the front pastedown.
