This scarce children's book was written by Tom Hood and was written from the point of view of one of the villagers, and describes the village of Bullock Smithy and the people who live there.

In the publisher's original paper covers. Externally smart with edge wear, marks, including tidemarks to the extremities of the rear, sunning, and rubbing to the spine. Internally binding starting. Pages age toned with the odd spot.
