A collection of letters and memories from the author during his journey around the world, travelling from the UK to Canada, into Asia, with specific reference to his time spent in Japan and India. Written by William Sprotson Caine, a British politician and temperance advocate. Illustrated by the author and British artists John Pedder and Henry Sheppard Dale.
Condition
In the original green pictorial cloth binding. Externally, smart with rubbing and light bumping to the extremities. Fading to the spine and the odd mark to the board. A small split in the cloth to the head of the spine. Front hinge starting but firm. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright with the odd handling mark. Light spotting to the first and last few pages.
