Condition

In the original full cloth binding. Externally, smart with light rubbing and minor bumping to the extremities. Minor fading to the spines with the odd small mark to the cloth. Small splits in the cloth to the head and tail of the spines of the odd volume. Front hinges generally starting but firm. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright with the odd small spot or handling mark. Further spotting to the first and last few pages. Contemporary ink inscription to the odd front free endpaper with the odd bookplate to the front pastedown.
