Illustrated with Kate Greenaway's brilliant covered vignettes, frontispiece and illustrated title pages. Printed by the noted wood engraver and colour printer Edmund Evans, whom she often collaborated with.
A charming collection of children's verses by the beloved Victorian artist and author known for her children's books. This work includes verses such as: Blue Shoes, First Arrivals, To Mystery Land, Little Phillis, On the Wall Top, Under Rose Arches, and many others.

Condition
In the publisher's original quarter cloth with pictorial boards. Externally smart with minor marks to the boards, wear to the extremities with very minimal closed tears to the head and tail of the spine. Past owners gift bookplate to the front pastedown, and offsetting to the endpapers. Internally Front hinge tender to the title page. Internally, binding starting in places, with lightly age toned pages with the odd spot and minor mark.
