Leather Binding
A handsome volume offering the sheet music of 'Mignon', an opera in three acts by French composer Ambroise Thomas.
Bound in quarter calf with marbled paper covered boards and gilt detailing to the spine.
With the original French libretto by Jules Barbier and Michel Carre, based on Goethe's novel 'Wilhelm Meisters Lehrjahre'. The opera tells the story of a young girl named Mignon, who is rescued from a group of gypsies by a student, Wilhelm.
Condition
In a quarter calf binding, with marbled paper covered boards and gilt detailing to the spine. Externally, smart, with rubbing to the extremities. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are age toned, but generally clean with only the odd spot.
