The life and work of David Livingstone, a Scottish physician, Congregationalist, pioneer Christian missionary with the London Missionary Society, and an explorer in Africa. He was married to Mary Moffat Livingstone, from the prominent eighteenth-century Moffat missionary family. Written by Rev. Jabez Marrat. Publisher's catalogue to the rear.

Condition

In the original full cloth binding. Externally, smart with light rubbing and bumping to the extremities. Light fading to the spine. Rear hinge starting but firm. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright with light scattered spotting and the odd handling mark. Minor age toning to the endpapers with a contemporary ink inscription to the front endpaper.
