Written by Samuel Orchart Beeton, an English publisher, best known as the husband of Mrs Beeton (Isabella Mary Mayson) and publisher of Mrs Beeton's Book of Household Management. He also founded and published Boy's Own Magazine, the first and most influential boys' magazine. Illustrated by British artists Harrison Weir and Richard Huttula. Condition
In the original full cloth binding. Externally, smart with light rubbing and minor bumping to the extremities. Minor fading to the spine. Hinges are starting but firm. Internally, firmly bound with page v/vi loosening slightly. Pages are very bright with the odd small spot or handling mark.
