A very scarce work.
A colourfully illustrated rendition of 'Baa Baa Black Sheep', with colour illustrations to each page by Edmund Caldwell.
The nursery rhyme was first printed around 1744, in 'Tommy Thumb's Pretty Song Book'.
Collated, complete.

Condition
In the original publisher's paper wraps. Externally, generally smart, a little worn to the backstrip. Wraps are very lightly age-toned with a few minor handling marks. Internally, binding is a little strained. Pages are a little age-toned and spotted.
