The Life and Adventures of Martin Cuzzlewit - With fifty-nine illustrations and two leaves of publisher's advertisements to the rear.

The Posthumous Papers of the Pickwick Club - With fifty-seven illustrations 

Barnaby Rudge - With forty-six illustrations 

The Personal History of David Copperfield - With sixty-one illustrations 

Sketches by Boz - With thirty-four illustrations 

Bearing the bookplate of Nicolas McDowall to the front pastedowns of 'Pickwick Papers' and 'David Copperfield'. Nicolas McDowall established the Old Stile private press with his wife Frances. Working collaboratively with printmakers and artists, the Old Stile press created beautiful, hand-printed works within idyllic surroundings.

Condition

In the publisher's original decorative green cloth bindings. Externally, smart. With faded spots to the boards of 'Barnaby Rudge' and mild rubbing to the extremities of all boards. Bookplate of Nicolas McDowall to the front pastedowns of 'Pickwick Papers' and 'David Copperfield'. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are generally bright and clean, with occasional scattered spots, most concentrated to the first and last few leaves.
