    Richly illustrated with seven colour maps and a plan, with 21 further chromo lithographs including a frontispiece. Collated, complete. 

    This is an expansive illustrated edition of the Authorized King James Version of the Old and New Testaments. It features the condensed commentaries of Matthew Henry and Thomas Scott, edited by Rev. John M’Farlane, along with extensive marginal references, devotional essays, and practical study aids designed for family worship and personal reflection.

    With additional devotional and reference material such as a concordance and family register pages.

    Condition

    Bound in a contemporary morocco binding with blind stamping. Externally, very smart. Sight rubbing and bumping to extremities resulting in very slight loss to morocco. The odd spot to endpapers. Internally, firmly bound. pages bright and clean if a little age toned, with scattered spotting to first and last few leaves and the odd spot, heavier to fore edge.
