This volume is a compact liturgical compendium combining the Book of Common Prayer and Administration of the Sacraments and Other Rites and Ceremonies with Hymns Ancient and Modern, bound together in one volume. The Book of Common Prayer includes the full liturgy of the Church of England, morning and evening prayers, sacraments, rites, and the Psalter (Psalms of David). Hymns Ancient and Modern was originally compiled in 1861 for use in Church of England services and significantly influenced by the Oxford Movement. This edition includes the First Supplement, which was added not long after initial publication.
