With titles including: The Lay of the Last Minstrel, Marmion, The Lady of the Lake, The Vision of Don Roderick, Rokeby, Lord of the Isles, and Miscellaneous Pieces. Includes a biographical sketch of the life of the author. Dated from ink inscription to the front endpaper, August 1859.
Condition
In the original blue cloth binding with gilt. Externally, smart with light rubbing and minor bumping to the extremities. Light fading to the spine with the odd small mark to the boards. A minor damp mark to the rear board. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright with very light scattered spotting. A contemporary ink inscription to the front endpaper.
