This work offers a series of walks through London and its surrounding areas, as told through the eyes of "Old Humphrey", which was one of the pen-names used by poet and author of children's books and religious tracts, George Mogridge.
Undated, dated from a copy held at the British Library.
In the original cloth binding.
With a charming contemporary prize inscription to the front free endpaper dated 1855.
Condition
In the original cloth binding. Externally, with fading to the spine and slight rubbing and bumping to the extremities. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and generally clean, with the very odd spot. Contemporary ink inscription to the front free endpaper.
