    Description

    Leather Binding, With Slipcase

    The fifth edition of this miniature collection of psalms. 

    In full crushed morocco-backed covers and housed in a two-piece leather slipcase. 

    This edition is undated, with a circa date based on a British Library circa of the seventh edition. 

    This charming miniature, measuring a mere 1" by 1", contains a series of short Bible extracts for every day of the year.

    The first edition was published in 1834 and many editions were printed at least up to the 39th, proving itself to be a popular choice of miniature for the Victorian public.

    Condition

    In full crushed morocco-backed covers and housed in a two-piece leather slipcase. Externally, with rubbing largely concentrated to the borders. Slipcase is notably rubbed, but intact. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are generally bright and clean, with the odd spot.
