Condition

In the original publisher's full cloth binding. Externally, smart with marginal fading to the fore edge and spine, minor handling marks, and light rubbing. Slight bumping to the head and tail of the spine and the extremities, Internally, sections of the binding are strained. Pages are slightly age toned with the odd spot or small handling mark, including a minor tidemark to the frontispiece and half title page, neither impacting the illustration nor text. Previous owner's inscription to pp.10v of publisher's advertisements. A work in very good condition indeed given its age and scarcity.
