Bound in full ornately gilt-decorated morocco.
'The Pilgrim's Progress' is widely considered to be one of the most significant works of Protestant devotional literature and of early modern English literature.
This edition collated and complete with an illustrated title page, portrait frontispiece of Bunyan, fifteen plates and numerous vignettes.
Condition
In a full morocco binding, with decorative gilt. Externally, with rubbing to the extremities. Front hinge is starting but firm. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are generally bright and clean, with offsetting to the page facing the frontispiece and scattered spotting and offsetting to the plates leaves, not affecting overall quality of the illustrations themselves.
