Folding Maps, Folding Plates

The eighteenth edition. 

Illustrated with a monochrome folding map frontispiece, and eight folding plates, featuring eleven maps. Collated, complete, with frontispiece bound to the rear rather than at the front. 

A detailed description of roads in England, Wales and parts of Scotland. Edward Mogg was a 19th century publisher, who issued maps and travel guides of numerous parts of Great Britain. 

Lacking the title page, with only the title page for the appendix included, dated from copies held institutionally.

Condition

Bound in modern cloth. Externally, slight marks to the boards, and very minimal wear to the edges. Offsetting to the endpapers. Internally, lacking the title page with lightly age toned and generally clean pages with the odd very minor spot to the rear. Pages closely cropped, some pages roughly cut. Tape repairs to the frontispiece.
