Composed by G. F. Handel and arranged for the organ or piano forte by John Clarke.
'Messiah', an English-language oratorio composed using the text from the King James Bible and Coverdale Psalter. First performed in Dublin in 1742 and London the following year, this work soon became known as one of the most popular and frequently performed choral work in Western music.
'Jephtha' is another of Handel's oratorios, with this choral performance based on the story of Jephthah in Judges, surrounding a rash promise made by the titular character to God.
Each music score has its own pagination and is followed by one page of index.
