With an introduction by popular scholar and speaker, the Rev. Robert Maguire. Memoir by editor and author Josiah Conder to the rear of Volume II.
A collection of works from significant 17th-century writer and preacher John Bunyan, best known for The Pilgrim's Progress (1678), included in this edition. Bunyan's works center on his nonconformist spirituality, for which he was imprisoned for 12 years. Among other titles, this set features the notable works "The Holy War", "Grace Abounding to the Chief of Sinners" and "A Confession of My Faith and a Reason of My Practice".
Condition
In half-calf binding with cloth boards and marbled endpapers. Externally, very smart with slight bumping and rubbing resulting in loss of cloth, especially to the joints, spine tips and top edge. Some discolouration and marking to cloth boards. Internally, firmly bound. Pages generally bright and clean, featuring occasional spotting heavier to the first and last few pages.
