This ornithological work was written by J. Maclair Boraston and provides a study on a variety of British birds and their nests. The work is illustrated profusely with beautiful colour illustrations of the different species and a diagram of the anatomy of a bird. In Boraston also introduces a new method of identifying birds in this study.

In the publisher's original cloth. Externally very smart with bumping to the extremities and slight fading to the extremities and joints. Offsetting to the endpapers with age toning to the rear. Internally firmly bound with generally bright pages and occasional light spotting.
