'At Bertram's Hotel' is an exciting Miss Marple detective novel. In the novel, Marple takes a break in London, staying at Bertram's Hotel where she had once stayed in her youth. The hotel is a character in itself, and whilst Marple stays there, she witness the complex relationship between an estranged mother and daughter, as well as working with the police to solve crimes.
Agatha Christie is one of the most prolific and successful detective writers of her time, writing sixty-six detective novels in total. She is best known for her protagonists Hercule Poirot and Miss Marple.
With an ink inscription 'To Elizabeth, from Sheila' dated 1966.
Condition
Bound in the publisher's cloth and price-clipped dust wrapper. Externally, lovely, with a touch of fading and shelf wear to the head of the spine. Ink inscription to front endpaper. Dust wrapper is generally smart, with light soiling, a few spots and slight sunning. A little edge wear to the wrap with one or two very small closed tears. Internally, firmly bound with bright, clean pages. Light spotting to fore edge.
