    Arthur Pinero's The Times and The Profligate plays in one volume, in half brown morocco with decorative paper-covered brown boards. 

    With a monochrome frontispiece portrait of Pinero before The Profligate. 

    Contains a prior owner's bookplate in the front paste down and contemporary ink signature to front free endpaper.  

    Sir Arthur Wing Pinero (24 May 1855 – 23 November 1934) was an English playwright who became a professional actor by the age of nineteen.

    Condition

    In half brown morocco with decorative paper-covered brown boards. Externally, smart with slight fading to front and rear boards. Rubbing and slight loss of leather at the joints and extremities. Internally, firmly bound. Front hinge slightly strained. Pages mostly bright and clean, if marginally age toned. Contains a prior owner's bookplate in the front paste down and contemporary ink signature to front free endpaper. Patterned paste downs.
