Theodore Roosevelt's account of the Smithsonian-Roosevelt African Expedition, on which they bagged five-hundred and twelve big game animals, all for the Smithsonian Institution and the American Museum of Natural History.
Roosevelt was the 26th president of the United States, travelling on this expedition after his term as President ended.
Richly illustrated with more than two hundred illustrations, taken from photographs by Kermit Roosevelt and other members of the expedition, and from drawings by Philip R. Goodwin.

Condition
Bound in the publisher's cloth. Externally, sound, with rubbing to joints and extremities, causing some loss to the cloth. Light soiling to cloth. Tears to the joints, with tape reinforcing the joints externally. Front hinge is a little strained, rear hinge has been reinforced with adhesive and is a touch stiff. Ink inscription to front free endpaper. Internally, firmly bound with bright, clean pages.
