Elif Shafak (1971-) is a Turkish-British novelist, essayist, and academic, widely translated and known for themes of exile, identity, feminism, and minority rights; she has been shortlisted for the Booker Prize and awarded the OBE in 2022 for services to literature. The novel was shortlisted for the Women’s Prize for Fiction in 2022.

In the publisher's original cloth binding. Externally, lovely. Dust wrapper excellent, with very slight rubbing to wraps and the slightest edge wear to extremities. Internally, firmly bound. Pages bright and clean. Signed by the author to the half-title.
