This book covers the history of The Charleston Bulletin the family newspaper of Quentin and Julian Bell. This book covers the summer of 1923 when Virginia Woolf's nephews asked her to contribute to this work. From Woolf's contribution a successful collaboration developed, between 1923 and 1927 they created fully fledged booklets of stories and paintings.

Accompanied by drawings and photographs which tell the story of the Charleston Bulletin.
