Together they formed Vel's Parnelli Jones Racing, commonly referred to simply as Parnelli or VPJ, a motor racing constructor and team from the United States. With reference to motorcars from the 1960 Watson Roadster and the 1964 Lotus to the 1975 Chevrolet Silverado. Written by Jimmy Dilamarter, a Canadian-born American racing driver, and Ren Wicks Jr., an American advertising director, graphic designer, and vintage car enthusiast. Designed by Dean Kirkland, an American photographer.
