Poyser, a British publishing house founded by Trevor and Anna Poyser in 1973 to specialise in ornithology books. They often worked in conjunction with the British Trust for Ornithology to print important and informative studies. This set contains: Avian Survivors: The History and Biogeography of Palearctic Birds, 2011. Exploring the history and chance events that played a central role in the origins of the Palearctic birds, discussing the establishment of certain species from long before the asteroid impact. Written by Prof. Clive Finlayson, a Gibraltarian zoologist, paleoanthropologist and paleontologist who is the incumbent Director of the Gibraltar National Museum. The Blue Tit, 2018. Discussing the feisty species that is the Blue Tit as a model for biological research, with exploration into their adaptation to modern humanity and the challenges they face. Written by Martyn Stenning, a British natural historian, author and professor of ornithology, conservation and ecology.

In the original full cloth binding. Externally, excellent. Original unclipped dust wrappers are also excellent. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean throughout.
