What Our Customers Say...
Description
Author's Presentation Copy, First Edition, Limited Edition, Publishers' Original Binding, Signed
This terrific set offers two uncommon annuals from Book Slam.
Both are limited editions, with 'One for the Trouble' being copy no. 0099 and 'Too Much Too Young' being copy no. 0225.
'Trouble' is a presentation copy signed by Patrick Neate, together with signatures from twelve of the eighteen contributing authors.
'Too Much' is signed by all twelve contributors underneath their mini sketched portraits to the title.
These two annuals stand as the only publications as of yet from the Book Slam series, and feature a fantastic range of work from writers such as Kate Tempest, Patrick Ness, William Boyd, Irvine Welsh, Helen Oyeyemi, Tim Key, Bernardine Evaristo, and David Nicholls.
Book Slam serves as an original London-based "literary shindig" founded by Ben Watt and ran together by experienced promotor Elliot Jack and award-winning author and screenwriter Patrick Neate. Their events and publications have been credited with breaking down the barriers between literature and popular culture, and revolutionising how Londoners look at books.
Condition
In the original cloth binding. Externally, excellent, with only a couple minor marks to the rear board of 'Trouble'. Internally, firmly bound with bright and clean pages.
