L. Frank Baum's classic tale is here abridged by Libby Hamilton, with vibrant illustrations from Paul Hess, and paper engineering from Andy Mansfield.

With five double page pop-up ups, and three further flat double-page spreads, still brightly illustrated. Each of the five-pop ups plays an atmospheric sound to accompany the scene, for example a witches cackle and the squawking of the flying monkeys.

All sounds and pop-ups are in full working order.
