Very scarce work. Illustrated in colour. The original guide for an auction held by Christie's, a British auction house founded in 1766 by James Christie, with premises in London, and additional salerooms in New York, Paris, Hong Kong, Milan, Geneva, Shanghai, and Dubai. Dated 3rd November 2010. This auction was held for four modern masterpieces of Impressionist and modern art, presenting: Violon et Guitare by Gris, L'Air by Miro, Tete d'Homme by Picasso, and Pflanze un Fenster Stilleben by Bauhaus. With this volume providing information on each artwork including the provenance, exhibitions, and associated literature, alongside detailed and comprehensive essays on both the artist and the artwork. Including photographs and additional reproductions of artworks.
Condition
In the original paper binding. Externally, excellent. Original translucent dust wrapper is also excellent. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean throughout.
