A collection of previously unpublished archive photographs from three of Flinder Petrie's key sites in Egypt - Gurob, Sedment, and Tarkhan. Presenting fascinating insight into early scientific archaeology and photography. Produced by The Petrie Museum of Egyptian Archaeology in London, part of University College London Museums and Collections. The museum contains 80,000 objects, making it one of the world's largest collections of Egyptian and Sudanese material. Edited by Janet Picton, an Honorary Lecturer at University College London, and Ivor Pridden, an Honorary Research Fellow at University College London.

Condition

In the original paper binding. Externally, smart with minor wear to the extremities and light marks to the boards. Light sunning to the spine. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean throughout.
